In Oaxaca, mezcal is served in a jicarita — a small, shallow cup that opens the spirit before you drink it. La Chicharra's version is 7 cm across and 3 cm tall: wide enough to nose, small enough to cradle in one hand.
Thrown at the studio in Magdalena Apasco, in the four glazes that run through the whole La Chicharra line.
Pass them with the bottle.
